My journey into the insurance industry began with a deeply personal experience. Years ago, my father had to undergo bypass surgery. That period was not only emotionally challenging for our family, but it also opened my eyes to the immense importance of financial preparedness and protection. 

I witnessed firsthand how critical proper insurance planning can be—not just for the patient, but for the loved ones around them. It was then that I realised I wanted to be in a profession where I could help others be ready for life's uncertainties, just like I wished someone had done more for us back then.

Since entering the industry, the path hasn’t always been smooth. Like many, I faced rejections and self-doubt in the early stages. But with each challenge came a new lesson, and over time, I’ve grown in both confidence and capability. I’ve had the privilege of walking alongside clients through different life stages—celebrating new births, planning for retirement, and supporting them through health events. Every milestone, no matter how big or small, reaffirms my purpose in this profession.

The supportive culture within the team, structured training, and strong team spirit here have been instrumental in my growth. I want to especially thank my manager, Jerome, who has played a huge role in shaping who I am today. His mentorship goes beyond just product knowledge—he truly cares, leads by example, and never fails to offer guidance when I need it most. His belief in me, even during times I doubted myself, has made all the difference. I'm truly grateful to have him as both a leader and a role model.
