I’ve always believed in doing meaningful work — and to me, that means helping people take control of their finances and protect what truly matters. I joined the financial services industry because I wanted to make a real impact in people’s lives, especially in a time where financial uncertainty is becoming more common. 


My decision also came from a deeply personal place. I’ve experienced first-hand how stressful life can get when you’re unprepared. I still remember lying in a hospital bed, watching my own parents argue over whether to proceed with the necessary tests the doctors recommended. My health was deteriorating, and we were unsure if we could even afford the treatment. We had no protection, no insurance, no emergency funds — just fear and helplessness. I never want that for my loved ones, or for anyone I serve. That moment pushed me to become someone who can guide others before it’s too late.


I officially began this journey in January 2025 — and it’s been a fast-paced and fulfilling ride since day one. Within my first quarter, I was proud to achieve the Top Number of Life cases, and have consistently closed protection cases for my clients. These milestones weren’t easy — but they were worth every bit of the hard work. Being new, I had to quickly adapt and learn the technicalities of financial products while building trust from the ground up. Every appointment, every “yes” — and even every “not now” — helped shape my confidence, sharpen my approach, and reinforce my purpose. But above all, I wouldn’t be where I am today without my clients. From close friends who believed in me early on, to prospects who had never met me before — I’m truly grateful. It’s never easy to trust someone new with something as personal as your finances or protection plans. Their trust, belief, and willingness to give me a chance have been the foundation of every success I’ve achieved so far.


FAMG has been a huge pillar in my journey. From structured training to field mentorship, I’ve always had access to the right support system. But what makes FAMG special is its culture — one that doesn’t just push you to grow, but also celebrates progress, however big or small. When I first started, I had no background in insurance. I only began studying for the exams in August 2024 — and it wasn’t easy. I’ve never considered myself the brightest student, but I had people who believed in me. One of them is my Lǎobǎn, Daniel Loke. Even before I was coded, he was constantly checking in, encouraging me, and sharing prospecting ideas whenever I hit a dry spell. His energy and belief have kept me going. And it’s not just him — every team member in FAMG brings something different to the table. 


Each person has their own strengths and specialties. Being able to learn from their perspectives, bounce off ideas, and ask for honest feedback has helped me prepare better for client objections, refine my approach, and open up my thinking. Without their input and teamwork, I wouldn’t have grown as quickly or as confidently.
