From a young age, I was inspired by how people in the finance industry carried themselves—it always seemed like a dynamic and professional field. Although I initially thought it would be difficult to enter the industry without a finance-related diploma or qualifications, this career opportunity allowed me to take my first step into the financial sector. 

Beyond that, my long-term goal has always been to achieve financial freedom at an early stage, so I can support myself, pursue personal aspirations such as travelling, and ease my family’s financial responsibilities. With this motivation, I’ve been determined to embrace the challenges and expectations that come with the role.

My journey so far has been both rewarding and enriching. I’ve had the privilege of learning extensively through my team’s constant support and guidance. Everyone has been incredibly approachable and willing to take time out of their busy schedules to clarify any questions I have, check in on my progress, and share their personal experiences in the field. Through these sharing sessions, I’ve gained valuable insights into the diverse types of clients I may meet and the various scenarios I might encounter. These experiences have not only expanded my understanding of the industry but also mentally prepared me for the challenges and responsibilities that come with being a financial consultant.

FAMG has provided a highly supportive and growth-driven environment that has been instrumental to my development. Beyond the team’s mentorship, training resources, and collaborative culture, I truly appreciate the financial support extended to me, especially in sponsoring my CMFAS papers. As this is my first job, having FAMG cover the exam fees allowed me to focus fully on my studies and preparations, without the added stress of financial concerns. Furthermore, knowing that my seniors will accompany me during client appointments during my first few months in the industry is extremely reassuring.
